Build a B2B lead list from job postings

For lead-gen agencies and founders who need a fresh, targeted account list without buying a stale database.

Bought B2B databases go stale the day they are exported, and everyone in your space is emailing the same rows. Job postings are the opposite: they are generated fresh by companies making decisions right now, and they encode intent — the role tells you what the company is trying to grow. That makes "who is hiring for X" a genuinely differentiated list source.

The work that turns postings into a lead list is boring but real: collapse many postings into one company, classify what the hiring means, find the public contacts, and score each account so you work the best ones first. Doing that by hand across hundreds of companies is the bottleneck — which is exactly the part these Actors automate.

Steps

Pick your list source: a LinkedIn job search (broad, any role/location) or a set of company ATS boards (durable, structured).
Run the matching Actor to collapse postings into one record per company and classify the hiring signal.
Enrich each company with public emails, phones and a contact page if the source did not already attach them.
Score and sort — recent, multi-role, contactable companies first — then trim to the top N you can actually work.
Export CSV/JSON into your CRM. Re-run on a schedule so the list stays fresh instead of decaying like a bought database.

Do it with one Actor

Honest limits

Public data only. Contacts come from pages companies publish themselves and from public job-board data — no gated profiles, no private-data access.
Hiring is a signal, not proven purchase intent. The commercial reason is a prioritisation hypothesis to open a conversation, not a guarantee of a deal.
Some public pages embed third-party widget emails (support vendors, form tools); these can slip into results. Review a sample before you send.
Respect each platform's terms and applicable law — e.g. the Australian Spam Act and CAN-SPAM require sender identification and a working unsubscribe path in commercial email. These are B2B research tools, not a licence to spam.
